About 1,800 groups flocked to Wing Tai’s LakeGarden Residences over two weekends of previews

Up and coming Jurong Lake District’s latest residential project, The LakeGarden Residences, recorded an impressive turnout as 1,800 groups of visitors previewed the new development over two weekends beginning from July 22. According to property developer Wing Tai Asia, these visitors were largely comprised of families.

The LakeGarden Residences comprises of two 19-storey condominium blocks, situated right at the front of the sprawling 90ha Jurong Lake Gardens, offering stunning unblocked views of the greenery for 75% of the 306 residential units.

The units range in size from one bedroom plus study units of 527 sq ft priced from $1.03 million ($1,954 psf), to three-bedders from 926 sq ft starting from $1.8 million ($1,944 psf), all the way up to four duplex penthouses. The project is expected to launch on August 5 at just under $2,000 psf.

Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex, considers The LakeGarden Residences to be “one of the most anticipated project launches in 2023”. Wing Tai had purchased the 99-year leasehold Lakeside Apartments, which the The LakeGarden Residences is a redevelopment of, for $273.88 million in May 2022.

It has been seven years since the last new-project launch in the Jurong Lake District, which were the 710-unit Lake Grande in 2016 and 696-unit LakeVille in 2014.
