New Pullman Singapore Hill Street general manager appointed

Mazen Abilmona, a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been appointed General Manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street, a 350-key property managed by Accor which will open on October 1.

Having begun his career in 2001 as an F&B Service Supervisor at Fairmont Dubai, Abilmona has gone on to lead rebranding efforts for properties such as Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort in Hainan, and Fairmont Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Over the years, his specialization has grown to cover F&B-focused hospitality properties in the Middle East, China, and Singapore.

Throughout his career, Abilmona has been involved with numerous properties and their pre-opening activities. He has assumed responsibility for hotel and F&B operations across a variety of Sofitel properties, including Sofitel Singapore Resort and Spa and SO/Singapore.

In a press release, Abilmona expresses his enthusiasm for his new role at Pullman Singapore Hill Street. He is excited to create “the ideal playground for [guests], where there are always new things for them to discover”. Abilmona adds that he and his team relish “the challenge and are incredibly excited to explore the possibilities”.
